Unit 8 ---- Describe category of people you can rely on

In my opinion , there are some necessary characters which a person who are relied on should have.

Integrity is priority, if you even cannot believe a person, how can you hope he can give you assistant when you need help. For example, there is a rule in the US Army that the solider cannot lie or imprecisely report the situation, it not just due to be good moral, but also be relevant to the military action, even the safety of all troop. Because if you are not honest to others , your commander would make wrong decision, while your mates may lost their life. So it is impossible that others will rely on you.

Moreover, having good skill of communication can also let people indicate you as a reliable one. Both of you can achieve comprehension to each other, then make a mutual decision which can trust. In fact, many companies have executed so many measure to make the crews can connect better to others. like Google, Amazon or Walmart, these companies would frequently assemble their crews for some outdoor activities or sport games. It is admitted that such things can help crews get out from pressure and relax themselves. but what is more important, during the process the crews can improve their skill of communicating to each others. After that, they can cooperate better in their work. Because they learned that others are reliable.

Currently, we can also rely on people who have other positive characters, like brilliant, gentle. Thus it is necessary to clarify someone before we depend to rely on him or her.

Unit 8 --- Whether committing crime should be punished ? ?

The crime has been priority problem which disturb people since the origin of civilian time. Some people think it is necessary to punish the crimer by the government, However, others have opposite opinion.
From my perspective, punishing and stopping committing crime is government's duty. Since crimes are inevitable, they need be controled and limited, and the most efficient measure is punishing the people who has already committed crime. On the one hand, those people will regert for thier crime than reform themself, on the other hand, other potential crimer who may have such evil desire would be warned, then give up.
